This wonderful little character is an advert in himself as the material he is made from is covered in a catalogue print, showing pictures and script from 1906 -1908 catalogues.

Even though the edition size is 2007 pieces, each bear is almost a one off as the teddy pattern is cut out of the material in a random fashion.

This very unusal bear stands 30 cm tall and will sell out very soon.

Artist Background - Maggie Iacono......

.....Maggie grew up in Hopkins, MN and graduated with a degree in elementary education from State University of New York, Fredonia.

Maggie was a teacher before she started creating dolls, she worked in her homeland America and she even took a job in Australia.



Maggie met her husband Tony, another American teacher and married in 1976.

Maggie then began making dolls in 1980. Her dolls were so successful, tony soon joined her in the now family business.




Maggie, Tony and their three daughters now live outside of Philadelphia, PA.

Since starting to make Felt Dolls, Maggie has been elected to the NAIDA - National Institute of American Doll Artists - in 1993.

Maggie and Tony work full time in their home studio, along with several outside assistants, to produce an average of five editions of seventy dolls each year which have helped them win several awards for their work:-

Doll Reader Magazine's DOTY Award,
Dolls Magazine's Dolls Award of Excellence,
Maggie's dolls are exhibited in many galleries and museums, including the Louvre in Paris.



The dolls and their clothing are fully designed and made by Maggie Made Dolls in America.

Nadja Bear Originals and Manufactured pieces......

....Originals by the wonderful Nadia Jacobs.




Nadia lives in Belgium; in a little town near Antwerp.

Coincidence or not the town is called Berendrecht ( Beren means Bears ).

Nadia started making bears in 1995 and collects old bears herself, so she makes her bears look old.

All her bears are either one - off - a - kinds or in very small editions.

They look as if they have already lived a lifetime and have been loved very much.

.....Manufactured by Clemens, these are designs by Nadia.



All the bears made by Clemens are in an edition of 333 and are all made from mohair.

Order soon as we at the moment are very lucky indeed, as we have very low numbers in the edition, such as Number 2 of Robin and Tess.

Steiff's 1909 replica Lion on wheels.........

.....rolls in, and is an instant success.




The first Steiff pull-along animals date back to as early as 1890. This lion is based on an original design from 1909.

The lion's wheels are made of cas iron, its eyes are glass and its body is stuffed with wood shavings. Even its pull-voice is faithful to the original. With a faraway expression on its face, the pull-along lion is sure to be the crowning glory of any collction.


This magnificent creation is only limited to 1000 pieces worldwide and will sell out very quickly.
