.....Sonja Wray grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and started drawing native fauna & flora from the age of 6 years old.



She studied graphic design in Cape Town and then worked as a graphic artist for the Travel & Tourism Trade. until she moved to the UK in 2001 and after a few years in the Catering trade has now gone back to her first love, AFRICAN ART.

Sonja draws with FABER CASTELL, Polychromos and CARAN D'ACHE colour pencil. and also enjoys drawing in simple graphite for some of her animal studies.
