The March Hare - the newest addition to the ALICE IN WONDERLAND COLLECTION based on the immortal books by Lewis Carroll illustrated by Sir John Tenniel.
The March Hare is constructed of the finest mohair plush and wool felt. He is fully jointed and stands approximately 17" tall. His sculptural face has detailed coloration, hand painted leather eyes, inserted whiskers, and molded "human-style" hands with individual fingers.
The March Hare appears as Alice first saw him at the Mad Tea-Party dressed in a tailored, fully-lined felt jacket, pieced felt polka dot waistcoat, a silk necktie, and striped trousers made of felt applique.
True in every detail to Tenniel's classic illustrations, a scattering of straw lies askew on top of his head.
