The March Hare - the newest addition to the ALICE IN WONDERLAND COLLECTION based on the immortal books by Lewis Carroll illustrated by Sir John Tenniel.

The March Hare is constructed of the finest mohair plush and wool felt and stands approximately 17" tall. Fully jointed, he has delicate realistic coloration, hand painted leather eyes, inserted whiskers, and sculptural "human-style" hands with individually sewn fingers.

The March Hare appears as Alice first saw him at the Mad Tea-Party dressed in a tailored, fully-lined felt jacket, fitted felt polka dot waistcoat, silk necktie, and striped felt trousers. True in every detail to Tenniel's classic illustrations, a scattering of straw lies askew on top of his head.




The March Hare will be produced in a limited edition of just 250 pieces worldwide and will come enclosed in a deluxe RJW presentation box along with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
