THE PINE TREE FAIRY
A tall, tall tree is the Pine tree,
With its trunk of bright red-brown-
The red of the merry squirrels
Who go scampering up and down.
There are cones on the tall, tall Pine tree,
With its needles sharp and green;
Small seeds in the cones are hidden,
And they ripen there unseen.
The elves play games with the squirrels
At the top of the tall, tall tree,
Throwing cones for the squirrels to nibble-
I wish I were there to see!
Flower Fairies of the Winter - The Pine Tree Fairy™ is constructed of the finest all wool felt. He measures 11 1/2" tall and is fully jointed at shoulders, hips, and neck.
The Pine Tree Fairy has delicately hand painted features and a sculpural molded body and limbs with individually sewn fingers. His delicate fairy wings are sewn, molded, and hand painted out of fine silk organza.
The Pine Tree Fairy is costumed in felt shorts, a long-sleeved belted tunic-style shirt with laced closure, and a molded and delicately hand painted felt pine cone headress. For warmth, he wears custom-dyed cotton tights and elfin slippers on his feet. The Winter Flower Fairy™ comes holding a detailed, realistic pine cone made of molded, hand painted felt.
The Pine Tree Fairy will be produced in an edition limited to only 250 pieces worldwide. Each will come enclosed in a deluxe RJW presentation box with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration. As part of the Flower Fairies™ Collection, matching numbers are available to the other dolls in the series.
