Standing 10 inches, Black Jackie is made from genuine jet-black mohair with breathtaking blue eyes -an all new color combination! This handsome bear wears a silver bow and features subtle airbrushing on his grey paw pads. Delicate airbrushing of the famous belly-button completes this special piece.



The Jackie design was first introduced in 1953 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Teddy bear. The round shape, playful smile, and airbrushed belly button set it apart from any other Steiff design. 2007 marks the centennial of the "Year of the Teddy Bear," in which Steiff manufactured one million Teddy bears in Giengen/Brenz, Germany. In celebration, the Jackie design, which collector's have adored for over half a century, has been recreated to mark yet another special anniversary for Steiff!
