Catch the Camel Train while you can.......

........ This is made possible by the amazing
new Limited Edition piece from Steiff.

The camel on Wheels 1908

Camels, a symbol for distant lands and great adventures,
were of great significance in the early Steiff range.
Even the first registered trademark (in the 1892 catalogue) shows a camel.
A similar camel on wheels belongs to the
collection of moving animals that Wilhelm II.,
King of Württemberg, ordered for his grandchildren in 1911.
In the jubilee year of 2005 we proudly offer a
replica of an original from 1908, 50 cm high,
with an embroidered saddle cloth and cast iron wheels.
It´s ready to roll - to you, perhaps?
